The ecommerce giant will host its first-ever D2C beauty conclave in Bengaluru, offering playbooks, insights, and growth tools to more than 50 rising brands
Flipkart, India’s homegrown ecommerce marketplace, is set to host the inaugural edition of its ‘Beauty Catalyst’ conclave — its first-ever D2C forum dedicated to emerging beauty and personal care (BPC) brands. Scheduled for 1 December 2025 at the company’s Bangalore headquarters, the event aims to empower new-age beauty entrepreneurs with the insights, tools and structured guidance needed to scale effectively on the platform.
More than 50 D2C brands across skincare, haircare, cosmetics and wellness are expected to participate, including Asaya, Tuco, Neude, Nisara, Brit Accent, Underrated, Tru Hair, Becalm and Dermalist. As Flipkart continues to strengthen its influence within India’s rapidly expanding D2C beauty ecosystem, the Beauty Catalyst programme builds upon this momentum by offering founders access to platform playbooks, data-driven insights and performance enablers to accelerate business growth.
Designed to address the most critical challenges faced by emerging beauty labels, the conclave will provide attendees with strategic mentorship, category-specific recommendations and practical tools to enhance brand visibility, refine positioning and reach wider audiences. Deep-dive sessions on merchandising, shopper engagement and storytelling will offer brands a clearer roadmap to differentiating their presence and delivering enhanced customer experiences.
Kartheek Kanumuru, Senior Director – Beauty & Personal Care at Flipkart, said: “The Beauty Catalyst Conclave is a specially curated space where we aim to bring together emerging D2C BPC brands ready to unlock their next phase of growth on Flipkart. As our first D2C conclave, we intend to build this into an ongoing flagship event, bringing young and budding entrepreneurs under one roof to experience the full potential of the platform. Through structured guidance, sharper insights, and access to Flipkart’s ecosystem, we want to help founders make informed decisions. Our focus remains on enabling long-term value for our seller partners, and this initiative is an extension of that commitment.”
Anurag Kedia, Co-founder of Pilgrim, noted: “Flipkart has been a key partner in helping us scale with consistency. A programme like Beauty Catalyst can offer emerging brands the clarity and direction needed to build effectively. From consumer insights to strengthened visibility, it provides the tools required to grow in a competitive ecosystem.”
Chanakya, Co-founder of Tuco, added: “The conclave gives us a clearer lens on how to grow strategically. It will help us refine our positioning, plan more effectively for visibility, and approach digital scale in a structured manner. With expert perspectives and peer learning, the programme serves as a strong enabler for the next phase of our journey.”
The Flipkart Beauty Catalyst Conclave marks the beginning of a concentrated effort to engage, enable and empower the next generation of Indian beauty brands. As the country’s beauty and personal care landscape evolves at pace, Flipkart aims to build long-term partnerships that help brands scale with purpose and sustained impact.
