The new programme offers curated meals, discounts and quicker deliveries between 10 pm and 5 am across 30 cities, targeting professionals working late hours and global shifts
Swiggy has rolled out Late Night Eats, a curated food delivery programme aimed at professionals working beyond conventional office hours. The initiative brings together curated meal options, discounts and faster deliveries to cater to India’s growing workforce operating on extended schedules and across global time zones.
The service is available between 10 pm and 5 am across more than 4,000 office locations and 30,000 restaurants in the country’s top 30 cities. Customers can order from brands including Burger King, Domino’s Pizza, McDonald’s, KFC and Subway.
The company has also introduced the ‘2 AM Club’, featuring restaurants that remain operational until at least 2 am to serve late-night customers.
Curated Food Offering
Late Night Eats includes curated categories under Swiggy’s DeskEats platform, designed to suit different workplace dining needs. These include One-Handed Grabbies such as rolls and wraps, Healthy Nibbles featuring grain bowls and salads, Sip-tastic Fuel with coffee, tea, shakes and other beverages, Stress Munchies offering fries and light snacks, and Teamwork Bites comprising pizzas for group orders.
According to the company, the programme is intended to provide workstation-friendly meals, quick bites, desserts, beverages and shareable orders for professionals working late into the night.
Demand Beyond Metros
Citing internal data, Swiggy said 25 per cent of corporate employees across the covered office locations place food orders after 10pm while still at work. The company also reported double-digit growth in late-night office orders in cities including Bhubaneswar, Goa, Kochi, Lucknow, Visakhapatnam and Ahmedabad, indicating that demand is expanding beyond India’s major metropolitan markets.
“We have observed that post 10 PM office orders have increased year-on-year, reflecting the growing role of food during late working hours. Also, the late night ordering trend is not only limited to metros, but is fast catching up across corporate hubs in tier-2 cities,” said Deepak Maloo, Vice President, Food Strategy, Customer Experience and New Initiatives, Swiggy.
The company said it plans to expand the programme further by increasing restaurant participation and extending coverage across office hubs, as it seeks to address the evolving dining requirements of India’s late-night workforce.
