Smartphone maker Lava International has partnered with ecommerce platform Flipkart to bring its online-first smartphone series ‘Virat’. This series marks Lava’s focus on the online segment, a step to cater to the growing online-first consumer.
Virat spans the sub-Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 segments, with both 4G and 5G variants. The company said that the series devices will focus on long battery life, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered camera capabilities. While the company claimed that the upcoming series’ devices will deliver up to two days of battery life, it has not shared battery capacities or processor details yet.

Powered by our partnership with Flipkart, this series is built for buyers who want quality and reliability, with zero compromise,” stated Sunil Raina, Managing Director, Lava International.
The company added that full specifications, variants, colours and pricing will be announced ahead of launch. With this series, the brand is increasing its depth to an online-heavy approach as Lava’s online business grew 74 per cent in 2025.
