Kalyan Jewellers Clocks 38% Q1 Revenue Surge, Posts SSSG Of 28%

The company’s digital-first jewellery platform, Candere, recorded a revenue growth of approximately 112 per cent during the recently concluded quarter

Marking a healthy improvement in its performance, Kalyan Jewellers has posted a consolidated revenue growth of around 38 per cent in the first quarter of the current financial year on a year-on-year basis.

The recently concluded quarter recorded same-store-sales-growth (SSSG) of approximately 28 per cent. The company saw revenue growth in excess of 38 per cent for its India operations during Q1FY27 as compared to Q1FY26, led by strong operating momentum on the ground with healthy same-store-sales-growth across all the key markets in the country despite the 28-day Adhik Maas period falling fully in the recently concluded quarter, it said in a quarterly update through a stock exchange filing.

“We launched our ‘Shine with India’ gold recirculation campaign during the second half of May with the larger objective of increasing the share of recycled gold and thereby reducing dependence on imported gold. The initiative has been well received by our customers, helping us increase the share of recycled gold as a percentage of revenue to over 46 per cent during Q1FY27,” it added.

Company’s international operations recorded revenue growth of approximately 35 per cent for the recently concluded quarter when compared to the same period during the previous financial year. Within the Middle East specifically, it witnessed revenue growth of around 30 per cent on a YoY basis, driven predominantly by same-store-sales-growth despite the impact on footfall during April due to the geopolitical tensions in the region.

International markets contributed approximately 14 per cent to its consolidated revenue for the recently concluded quarter, the company added. The company’s digital-first jewellery platform, Candere, recorded a revenue growth of approximately 112 per cent during the recently concluded quarter on a YoY basis. During the recently concluded quarter, the company opened 12 Kalyan showrooms and five Candere showrooms in India.
