Lenskart Rolls Out Early Access For B By Lenskart AI Smart Glasses

Lenskart Brings AI-Powered Smart Glasses to India with Early Access Launch

Lenskart opens early access for B by Lenskart AI smart glasses featuring Gemini AI, 12 MP camera, Snapdragon AR1 processor and 40-gram frame

Lenskart has introduced early access for B by Lenskart, Gemini AI-powered smart glasses engineered in India. B by Lenskart is built on a “glasses first” approach and enables photo and video capture, music playback, calling and interaction with an AI assistant in a 40-gram frame.

The AI assistant, Buddy, supports more than 40 languages, including Hinglish and Indian languages, and can process visual input from the wearer to provide contextual responses.

The early-access waitlist opened on 31 March 2026 after its debut at Lenskart’s IPO event in November 2025. The company said it has received over 35,000 registrations as of 12 May, 2026. B by Lenskart is priced at Rs 27,000 at commercial introduction, with an early price of Rs 22,000 for selected early-access users. Consumers can register for early access through the B by Lenskart waitlist on the Lenskart website and app.

The device includes a 12 MP Sony camera for HD video and 4K photos, directional speakers, and a three-microphone array with Discreet, Normal and Boosted audio modes. It runs on a Snapdragon AR1 processor. It features a temple-tip charging cable enabling charging while in use, Japanese ultra-thin blue light lenses, and a charging case offering up to 48 hours of backup. A companion app manages media, settings, device sync and interaction with Buddy. An LED indicator activates during photo or video capture.

“At Lenskart, we have always believed that India has the will to build products that can compete globally. With B by Lenskart, we wanted to create smart glasses that are eyewear first, comfortable, stylish, and practical enough to be worn all day. This is our first step into wearable technology, and we are excited to build this category alongside our customers in India before taking it to global markets,” Peyush Bansal, Co-Founder and CEO, Lenskart, said.
