Company says that the expansion will continue through a cluster-based rollout across both established and emerging markets
TechnoSport, an activewear brand, has opened its new Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO) in Bhagalpur, Bihar. Spread across approximately 3,000 square feet, the store marks another step in the brand’s strategy to strengthen organised retail presence across emerging markets.
With this opening, TechnoSport continues to scale its national store network, which now spans 45 exclusive outlets. The brand is expanding into tier-2 and 3 cities as part of its nationwide retail growth roadmap. The official statement noted that EBO-led approach enables stronger brand visibility, enhanced consumer engagement and improved control over merchandising and in-store experience.
Looking ahead, TechnoSport remains on track to expand to 50 EBOs across India by the end of the financial year. Expansion will continue through a cluster-based rollout across both established and emerging markets.
“Our expansion into Bhagalpur reflects our commitment to building a strong retail presence in high-growth regional markets. As demand for accessible performance wear continues to rise beyond metros, this store enables us to connect more closely with consumers while accelerating our organised retail scale in East India,” stated Puspen Maity, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), TechnoSport.
The Bhagalpur outlet offers a contemporary retail experience and features TechnoSport’s full range of high-performance activewear engineered for Indian conditions. The collection showcases in-house fabric innovations like Cotflex, Techno Dry for quick-drying performance and Matpiq, which combines a soft hand feel with a subtle matte texture.
Tier 2+ geographies continue to emerge as an important growth market for TechnoSport as the brand deepens its presence across underserved activewear destinations. Building on the Bhagalpur opening, the company will explore opportunities to expand into other promising cities across the state as part of its long-term retail scale-up strategy.
