The integration gives users access to over 1.4 lakh restaurants across 400+ cities listed on the ONDC network
BharatPe, a leading player in India’s fintech sector, has partnered with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to offer food ordering and delivery services via its app. This move enables BharatPe’s 15 million customers to access food delivery services directly through the app, eliminating the need for multiple apps on their smartphones and providing a seamless experience.
The integration gives users access to over 1.4 lakh restaurants across 400+ cities listed on the ONDC network. Through the BharatPe app, users can browse a wide range of local restaurants, popular chains, and hidden gems, placing orders with ease. Additionally, the app offers real-time order tracking, from preparation to delivery, and personalised food recommendations based on user preferences and order history.
Nalin Negi, CEO of BharatPe, commented, “This partnership aligns with our mission to empower local businesses while enhancing the user experience. The inclusion of ONDC’s vast network helps small and independent food outlets reach a larger consumer base, fueling their growth.”
ONDC’s MD and CEO, Thampy Koshy, highlighted the initiative’s potential, stating, “This integration redefines convenience for consumers while creating new opportunities for local food businesses. It embodies our goal of fostering a more inclusive digital economy.”
The BharatPe app continues to expand its range of services, offering customers payment features such as UPI Lite, bill payments, and discounted gift vouchers, ensuring a versatile and user-friendly experience.
