After Avenue Supermarts, the parent of DMart opened three new stores in two days, the company’s shares are currently trading at Rs 3,927.5, up by Rs 17.2 or 0.44 per cent as at 12:08 PM on Friday. The company now operates 472 stores as of 27 March 2026.
On 26 March, the company opened two new stores at Cuddalore (Tamil Nadu) and Khasa, Amritsar (Punjab). Earlier, the DMart parent opened a store in Sriperumbudur, Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.
In a separate development earlier this month, the board of directors of the company approved the appointment of Kalpana Unadkat, Independent Director as Chairperson of the company. Chandrashekhar Bhave, Chairman of the board will complete his second term as an Independent Director on 16 May 2026. Bhave shall cease to be the Chairman from the close of business hours on 31 March 2026, it said in an exchange filing.
Total revenue for the quarter ended 31 December 2025 stood at Rs 18,101 crore, as compared to Rs 15,973 crore in the same period last year. Earnings before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (Ebitda) in Q3FY26 stood at Rs 1,463 crore, as compared to Rs 1,217 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.
Ebitda margin stood at 8.1 per cent in Q3FY26 as compared to 7.6 per cent in Q3FY25. Net profit stood at Rs 856 crore for Q3FY26, as compared to Rs 724 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. Pat margin stood at 4.7 per cent in Q3FY26 as compared to 4.5 per cent in Q3FY25.
