Elitecon International said on Thursday that it has secured a contract for the supply of cigarettes and other tobacco-related products. The contract is worth Rs 2.02 billion, as per the exchange filing.
The company said that the order strengthens its presence in South African markets and aligns with its ongoing focus on expanding exports and building a sustainable, scalable business model. The order is expected to contribute positively to business stability and long-term growth and will be a stepping stone to enter into the African continent, it added.
It received the order from Bozza Tobacco and the contract is for the supply of the company’s tobacco products, such as cigarettes with the brand names of Red and Black, B&W, Cape, Ossum, Golden Flake. The effective date of the agreement is 6 April 2026, with payment terms being 90 days after delivery. The contract is to be executed within two years.
“This long-term supply order provides the company with steady export visibility over the contract period and reflects continued demand for its products in international markets. The order has been received in the normal course of business and supports efficient utilisation of manufacturing capacities and better planning of operations,” the company pointed out in the exchange filing.
The company’s revenue from operations in the third quarter of the financial year 2026 stood at Rs 1,741.26 crore. The revenue for the nine months ended 31 December 2025 was Rs 5,476.88 crore. The company’s profit attributable to the equity shareholders rose to Rs 103.57 crore in Q3FY26 and Rs 282.34 crore in 9MFY26. The company’s executive director, Dayanand Ray, resigned on 27 February 2026.
