The reports note that the Bombardier Global series aircraft has been parked in the VIP bay of Delhi airport since June 2025, and is scheduled to operate on 16 July 2025
Days after the Chief Executive Officer of Zomato, Deepinder Goyal, registered a super luxury apartment in DLF’s The Camellias in Gurugram for Rs 52.3 crore, now reports state that Goyal-backed LAT Aerospace has bought a Bombardier Global jet.
The reports noted that the Bombardier Global series aircraft has been parked in the VIP bay of Delhi airport since June 2025, and is scheduled to operate on 16 July 2025. Indamer MJets Airport Services and Bird Execujet Airport Services handle the ground handling and engineering of the aircraft, the reports added.
In an earlier post on LinkedIn, Surobhi Das, Co-founder, LAT Aerospace wrote, “Think buses in the sky, affordable, high-frequency, and designed to connect the places the airline industry overlooked. Our aircraft will take off and land in compact “air-stops”, no bigger than a parking lot, built closer to where people actually live. No chaos. No security lines. Just walk in and fly.”
Private aircraft ownership rules in India state that individuals must register an Indian corporate company and secure a non-scheduled operator’s permit (NSOP) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) using form CA-28. The reports highlighted that documents like the customs clearance certificate, proof of ownership lease agreement, if applicable, are required.
The reports emphasised that a Bombardier Global 8000 equipped with Ka-band internet hardware to enable in-flight wifi comes with a list price of USD 78 million. The list price for a new Bombardier Global 6500 is around USD 56 million, as per the reports.
