Hansgrohe Group’s Design Brand Axor Opens New Store In Mohali

The new store marks a strategic milestone for the brand as it deepens its engagement with one of India’s most architecturally significant and design-conscious markets

Axor, the design brand of the Hansgrohe Group, has opened its new store in Mohali, further strengthening its design-led expansion across North India. The new store marks a strategic milestone for the brand as it deepens its engagement with one of India’s most architecturally significant and design-conscious markets.

Serving as the gateway to North India and catering to the affluent Tricity region of Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula, while also extending its influence into Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, the city represents a mature luxury market where consumers are increasingly seeking holistic living experiences and functional solutions.

“Mohali represents a market that truly understands architecture, design integrity, and the value of thoughtful living. With the launch of this new Axor Store, we are not merely expanding our retail footprint but creating an experiential brand touchpoint that allows architects, designers and consumers to engage deeply with AXOR’s philosophy of personalised luxury and holistic bathroom design,” stated Abdulkader Bengali, Managing Director, Hansgrohe India.

The Axor Store in Mohali has been conceived as a design-led space that goes beyond conventional showroom formats, presenting complete bathroom ensembles rather than products in isolation. The official statement added that the store features a calm, neutral, gallery-like backdrop that allows brand’s refined finishes, from polished red gold to brushed black chrome, to take centre stage.

“For us, luxury today is about relevance, choice, and coherence. The Mohali Axor Store has been designed to help architects, designers and homeowners experience how our individual products come together as a complete bathroom solution. This format allows for deeper engagement, clearer visualisation, and a more consultative approach,” highlighted Vishal Gupta, Commercial Director, Sales and Marketing, Hansgrohe India.

A key highlight of the store is the Axor shower select ID, developed in collaboration with Philippe Starck and Antonio Citterio, which brings a strong focus on personalisation to shower controls.
