Marking a change in senior management, the board of directors of IFB Industries has approved the appointment of Sandeep Joseph Abraham as the Additional Director, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Abraham has been named for the role for a period of five years effective from 9 April 2026, the company said in an exchange filing. The board also approved the appointment of Manoj Kumar Vijay as an Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive Independent Director of the company with effect from 9 April 2026 for a period of two years.
With over 30 years of experience in driving growth across diverse industries, including business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) sectors, Abraham has experience of managing a business close to Rs 20,000 Cr, leading teams to market leadership and achieving strategic business milestones.
The company pointed out that Abraham has worked across various positions during his career in Companies like TAFE, GSK Consumer Healthcare, SIFY, Trident Hotels, Vodafone and others. He was lastly working with MRF as Vice President, Business Development for more than 11 years. Abraham, 57 years, is a bachelor of Mechanical Engineer from REC Tiruchirapalli. He completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad.
On the other hand, Vijay has over 36 years of experience working in various capacities in the Usha Martin Group in accounts and finance, business management and administration, human Resource and legal matter. Vijay is a Bachelor of Commerce from Calcutta University and a Diploma in Multimedia design.
Vijay serves as an independent board member of Usha Martin Education & Solutions and Peterhouse Investments India. He is also serving as Director of RW Ropeways, KGVK Agro and Redtech Network India. He has superannuated and is now working as consultant with Usha Breco, the company said.
