Krishnarao Buddha was currently leading the confectionery, snacks, cakes and rusk portfolio as Senior Category Head- Marketing
After being associated with Parle Products for nearly 24 years serving in different capacities, Krishnarao Buddha, the Senior Category Head- Marketing has decided to move on from the company. Buddha, who was currently leading the confectionery, snacks, cakes and rusk portfolio informed the decision through a LinkedIn post.
Buddha has been serving as the Senior Category Head- Marketing since November 2017. Prior to this, he was the Category Head of Marketing for a period of one year. His role at Parle Products began as Product Manager when he served in that role for almost three years from May 2001 to March 2004.
“Embracing new beginnings after an amazing chapter at Parle Products. After an unforgettable journey, the time has come to turn the page and move on from my role at Parle Products. It is hard to put into words how much this experience has meant to me. What began as a professional adventure quickly became a deeply meaningful chapter in my career, filled with growth, challenges, and incredible memories,” he wrote in the post.
Adding that Parle Products has been more than just a workplace for him, Buddha stated, “From the exceptional colleagues who turned into lifelong friends, to the mentorship and support that shaped my journey, I will forever be grateful for everything that has been shared.”
Shedding light on what lies ahead, he shared, “As I step into the next chapter, I do so with immense gratitude, excitement, and optimism for what lies ahead. Here’s to embracing new opportunities, continuing to grow, and forging new paths in this ever-evolving journey.”
As Deputy Marketing Manager at Parle Products, he led the charge of the entire snacks portfolio and turned it around with a viable proposition. He also relaunched Magix Creme biscuits in the mass segment. Buddha is also credited for introducing BakeSmith English Marie with fan fare as a premium offering in the category.
