Financial results reveal that net profit almost doubled to Rs 20.8 crore in FY26, with net profit margin expanding by 91.4 basis points to 4.8 per cent
Marking a healthy improvement in its performance, Lehar Footwears, a regional manufacturer of non-leather footwears, has reported a 55 per cent year-on-year (YoY) jump in its total income in the financial year 2026. The total income rose to Rs 431.3 crore in FY26 from Rs 277.5 crore in FY25.
Profit after tax (Pat) almost doubled to Rs 20.8 crore in FY26, with net profit margin expanding by 91.4 basis points to 4.8 per cent with flat depreciation charges and lower interest costs. The company said in a regulatory filing that the earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) grew by 49 per cent to reach Rs 39 crore in FY26.
For Q4, the footwear segment delivered 27 per cent YoY growth, driven by strong traction in premium and athleisure categories, along with expansion in distribution channels. However, the toolkit order execution was phased out to the subsequent quarter. The company added that the Return on Capital Employed (RoCE) improved meaningfully to 18 per cent in FY26 as compared to 12 per cent in FY25 as a result of healthy operating profit growth and lower dependence on debt.
“The investments we have made over the last couple of years include non-leather capacity, the launch of our athleisure brand Rannr, deeper distribution, BIS-approved products, OEM manufacturing for reputed brands and execution under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme. These are now translating into a more diversified and profitable business,” stated Raj Kumar Agarwal, Chairman, Lehar Footwears.
Footwear revenue grew by 16 per cent YoY to Rs 208.7 crore in FY26, with strong momentum supported by new product launches and a richer mix. The company commenced OEM supply in the athleisure category, onboarded leading brands including Spykar, Red Chief, Cult Fit and Lee Cooper, opening a new institutional growth channel
The company added that the toolkit business emerged as a meaningful second engine for the Company in FY26, with segment revenue of Rs 249.5 crore. Lehar has cumulatively delivered around 2,00,000 toolkits under the PM Vishwakarma scheme during the last 18 months.
