The store features an extensive portfolio of over 100 stock-keeping units (SKUs), including fresh chicken, mutton and a selection of freshwater and seawater fish
Licious, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) meat and seafood brand, has opened its flagship retail store in HSR Layout, Bengaluru. Spanning approximately 2,000 square feet, this is the brand’s largest meat destination in the city, aimed at delivering a comprehensive experience for walk-in customers while also functioning as a fulfilment hub for the surrounding catchment.
The store blends offline discovery with the speed of online ordering, enabling 15-minute deliveries across the HSR neighbourhood, the company said. The store features an extensive portfolio of over 100 stock-keeping units (SKUs), including fresh chicken, mutton and a selection of freshwater and seawater fish. A diverse range of ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat offerings are also available, the company added.
“With this flagship store, we are bringing the complete Licious experience closer to our customers by combining a premium in-store environment with the speed and reliability of our online platform. This launch reflects our broader vision of building modern meat and seafood destinations that are rooted in trust, innovation, and customer-centricity”, said R Chandramohan, Senior Vice President – Offline Business, Licious.
The company reported a 47 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue to Rs 1,166 crore for the recently concluded financial year, up from Rs 795 crore in FY25.
Reports noted that the growth marks the company’s highest-ever annual revenue jump, supported by stronger execution in core urban markets and a focus on repeat consumption. Online sales continued to anchor the business, rising 28 per cent to around Rs 1,000 crore, driven by improvements in delivery infrastructure and deeper penetration in existing markets.
Licious also saw traction in its offline segment, with revenues increasing significantly as it expanded its network of physical stores, positioning them as discovery and trust-building centres complementing its digital operations.
