Marico Expands Pawan Agrawal’s Role, To Lead Finance & International Business

Marico names Pawan Agrawal global CEO, Group CFO

The company has expanded his responsibilities to oversee international business operations alongside his finance leadership role

Marico has expanded the role of Pawan Agrawal, appointing him as Group CFO and Chief Executive Officer, International Business, the company said in an exchange filing. In his expanded role, Agrawal will now oversee Marico’s global operations alongside his existing finance responsibilities. He currently leads the company’s international business across Southeast Asia and Bangladesh.

As part of the restructuring, Binjit Kadakapcedlikayal, Executive Vice President, Middle East & North Africa, and Ryan Bartram, Managing Director, Marico South Africa, will report to Agrawal. Both executives will cease to be classified as Senior Management Personnel (SMPs) with effect from 1 April 2026.

With over 25 years of experience, Agrawal has expertise across financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, treasury, investor relations, taxation and governance. Since joining Marico in 2004, he has held several leadership roles and has been instrumental in strengthening the company’s finance and business operations.

He has also played a key role in Marico’s diversification efforts, including acquisitions of digital-first brands such as Beardo, Just Herbs, True Elements, Plix, 4700BC and Cosmix.

Before Marico, Agrawal worked with Eveready Industries for four years. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, he holds a B.Com (Hons) degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, and was named CFO of the Year in the Consumer Sector at the CII CFO Excellence Awards 2023–24.
