Patanjali Foods has informed that the order of prohibition of the sale of Patanjali Organic Wild Honey batch has been revoked after compliance. The company said that the order has been revoked with immediate effect upon the receipt of referral laboratory test report.
The report confirmed that the Patanjali Organic Wild Honey batch complies with Food Safety and Standards (Contaminants, Toxins and Residues) Regulations, 2011 and is safe for consumption, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The order regarding the prohibition was passed by the Office of Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh office of the Assistant Commissioner/ Designated Officer, Food Safety, Drugs and Food Control Organisation, Kargil, UT Ladakh.
“Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and with reference to intimation filed by the company on 13 March 2025, informing about a prohibition order of sale of Patanjali Organic Wild Honey of a Batch, passed by Office of Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh office of the Assistant Commissioner/ Designated Officer, Food Safety, Drugs and Food Control Organisation, Kargil, UT Ladakh,” the official statement added.
The company highlighted that the said prohibition order was subject to review in case the opinion of the appellate laboratory (referral laboratory) differs from the opinion of the food analyst of the primary lab.
