Appointment comes as Forest Essentials sharpens focus on retail expansion
Forest Essentials has appointed Nupur Sarda as its new Head of Retail Marketing, bringing her eight-year run at Vahdam India to a close. “I’m excited to share that I’ve joined Forest Essentials as the Head of Retail Marketing”, she said in an LinkedIn post.
She led the LinkedIn company’s international PR, influencer collaborations, and social media strategy, helping position it as one of India’s most recognised homegrown brands in global markets. She also made an early bet on the business as its first angel investor.
With more than a decade of experience across PR, social media, influencer strategy, and brand content, Sarda has previously worked with Vahdam India, nearbuy, and ICICI Bank.
Reflecting on her journey, Sarda described Vahdam as “disruptive, global, and formative,” and thanked Founder Bala Sarda for his mentorship and trust.
At Forest Essentials, she will lead retail marketing initiatives as the luxury Ayurveda brand deepens its focus on customer experience and in-store storytelling. Sarda noted she has “long admired” Forest Essentials, acknowledging Karishma Manga Bedi and Ira Kukrety for bringing her on board.
