Company’s board has approved the appointment of Co-founder Phani Kishan Addepalli and Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Rahul Bothra as Executive Directors effective 01 June 2026
Notifying a series of strategic updates to its Board of Directors, Swiggy, an on-demand convenience platform, said that its Co-founder Nandan Reddy will be stepping down from his board position and moving on from Swiggy to pursue personal independent projects.
The company’s board has also approved the appointment of Co-founder and Chief Growth Officer Phani Kishan Addepalli and Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Rahul Bothra as Executive Directors effective 01 June 2026. Additionally, the company is welcoming Renan De Castro Alves Pinto from Prosus Ventures as a Nominee Director. Each of these appointments shall be subject to requisite shareholder approvals, Swiggy said in an exchange filing.
Renan De Castro Alves Pinto is an International corporate finance and technology executive with over 20 years of experience across Latin America, North America, Europe and Asia. He is currently Group CFO of Despegar, an online travel company in Latin America and part of the Prosus Group.

Board Leadership Changes
Phani, who will be joining the company’s board, works on business strategy, high-impact partnerships, cross-platform usage in his current role as Chief Growth Officer. On the other hand, Bothra joined Swiggy as its first CFO. With over two decades of experience across domestic and international markets, Rahul has played a central role in shaping Swiggy’s financial and strategic trajectory leading its evolution from a VC backed food delivery startup into a multi-category, publicly listed platform.
