In a major leadership exit, Amitesh Kumar Jha has stepped down as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Swiggy Instamart, with immediate effect. The company has appointed Nandita Sinha as the new CEO.
In an exchange filing, the company said that Jha has stepped down to pursue other opportunities and ceases to be Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the company. Nandita Sinha will take charge on 3 August 2026. Sinha joins from Myntra, where she served as Chief Executive Officer.

She is widely recognised for combining deep customer understanding with disciplined execution, driving innovation at scale and building high-performing organisations, the company said in an exchange filing.
“I am delighted to welcome Nandita Sinha as the CEO of Instamart. Nandita is one of India’s most accomplished consumer internet leaders, and I’m enthusiastic about the vision, customer obsession and operational rigor she brings to the team we’ve built at Instamart,” said Sriharsha Majety, Managing Director and Group CEO, Swiggy.
Exits At Instamart Continue
Earlier this month, the company appointed Gautam Swaroop as Chief Business Officer (CBO), after Hari Kumar stepped down. In this role, Swaroop will oversee Instamart’s commercial operations spanning customer-centric growth, category management, and brand relationships and expansion.
Company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Ankit Jain also moved on citing personal reasons. Nykaa has appointed Jain to lead its 30-minute delivery service, Nykaa Now, as per the reports. Jain’s appointment signals the company’s effort to expand its quick commerce footprint across major Indian cities.
