TABP Raises $3 Million To Expand Low-Cost Beverages

Funding led by LC Nueva to help Coimbatore firm scale affordable packaged drinks for Bharat’s mass market

Coimbatore-based TABP Snacks and Beverages has raised USD 3 million (Rs 26 crore) in a round led by LC Nueva, with participation from Entrust Family Office and investors Arun Mukherjee and Soumya Malani.

The company said it will use the funds to expand distribution in southern and eastern India, introduce new beverage formats, and scale production capacity.

“India’s beverage revolution won’t be defined by metros alone but by consumers of Bharat. For millions of consumers in tier-2 towns, industrial belts, and rural markets, there is still a gap between taste, hygiene, and affordability. Our goal is to deliver quality beverages that feel aspirational yet remain accessible”, said Prabhu Gandhikumar, co-founder and CEO, TABP.

Founded in 2018 by Prabhu Gandhikumar and Brindha Vijayakumar, TABP packages local street drinks in hygienic, low-cost formats aimed at mass-market consumers.

TABP reported Rs 212 crore in sales in FY25, up from Rs 4 crore in FY19, and targets Rs 800 crore in three years.

We have been early believers in TABP’s vision and are proud to see their focused execution translating into tangible growth…TABP’s growth signals a new wave of aspirational yet value-conscious consumption”, LC Nueva said.

India’s non-alcoholic beverage market is valued at Rs 1.38 lakh crore and is expected to reach Rs 2.1 lakh crore by 2029, industry data show.
