Travel Accessories Platform Escape Plan Raises $25 Mn

Retail Funding Dips 34% In Q1FY24 2024: Report

The capital will be deployed to strengthen Escape Plan’s brand, pricing and distribution across India and select international markets

Travel accessories platform Escape Plan has raised USD 25 million in a series A funding round led by Jungle Ventures, with participation from Fireside Ventures and strategic investor IndiGo Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of IndiGo.
The funding comes as Escape Plan continues to scale a differentiated omnichannel travel platform across online marketplaces, direct-to-consumer channels and offline retail. The company is currently operating at over Rs 300 crore annualised revenue run rate, driven by demand across cities, channels, and a wide range of travel use cases.

“As we scale across channels and geographies, this phase is about strengthening the foundation for long-term growth. Our investors bring not just capital, but deep experience in building consumer businesses operating at scale. It is truly the partnership we needed the most. This partnership allows us to sharpen execution and unlock affordable price points in this category, which were never possible before and truly meant for Bharat and not just India,” stated Abhinav Pathak, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Escape Plan.

The series A capital will be deployed to strengthen Escape Plan’s brand, pricing and distribution across India and select international markets. Key priorities include deepening its omni-channel presence across metros, tier 1 and 2 cities, expanding its physical retail footprint to over 200 stores and increasing availability across major travel hubs and corridors. The company also plans to enter select international geographies aligned with Indian outbound travel.

In parallel, Escape Plan will significantly strengthen its technological capabilities to build deeper control across the value chain. The company will invest in core tech systems that improve speed, availability and consistency across channels, while advancing product innovation through design-led and sustainability-focused materials.
