Revenue rises 12.1 per cent to Rs 2,727 crore, while Ebitda margin contracts 360 basis points to 5.1 per cent during the quarter.
Whirlpool of India reported a 29.5 per cent year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 103 crore in the quarter ended June 2026, compared with Rs 146 crore in the corresponding period last year. Revenue rose 12.1 per cent to Rs 2,727 crore from Rs 2,432 crore a year earlier.
Despite the growth in revenue, the company’s operating profitability weakened during the quarter. Ebitda declined 33.9 per cent to Rs 139 crore from Rs 211 crore in Q1FY26, while Ebitda margin contracted 360 basis points to 5.1 per cent from 8.7 per cent.
Whirlpool of India also announced changes to its senior management through a regulatory filing. Anish Ahuja, currently Head- Service at Whirlpool of India, will take up the role of Chief Operating Officer at Whirlpool of India Kitchen Appliances, or Elica India, a material subsidiary of the company, effective 1 September 2026.
Ahuja will report to Pralhad Bhutada, CEO and Managing Director, Elica India, in his new role. Meanwhile, Ankit Gupta, Head- Manufacturing Finance, has resigned from the company effective 14 August 2026 to pursue opportunities outside Whirlpool of India.
Sourav Chakravarty will take over as Head- Manufacturing Finance from 10 August 2026 and will report to Aditya Jain, Executive Director and CFO, Whirlpool of India. Chakravarty is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has around 18 years of experience. Before joining Whirlpool, he worked with ITC, with experience in financial performance management, large-scale capital expenditure projects and digital transformation in renewable energy.
He has also handled cross-functional responsibilities covering multiple plant operations, procurement, taxation and audit governance.
