The 25th edition of India’s premier gifting and promotional solutions trade show, Gifts World Expo 2024, kicked off on 25 July at Pragati Maidan. The event featured advancements in the gifting and promotional sector, attracting over 600 exhibitors and participation from renowned brands across 12 sectors, customised gifts and promotional products, beauty, health and wellness gifts, gourmet hampers, electronic gadgets and home appliances, awards and rewards, handicrafts, home décor and furnishings, houseware and kitchen appliances, stationery and office supplies, innovative gifting boxes, premium gifts, gold and silver gifts, luxury gifts and lifestyle products and custom branding machinery.
Opening with ‘Gift Talks’, a three-day conference, the expo brought together industry experts and tech enthusiasts to explore the evolving role of technology in the gifting industry. Discussions covered various topics including automated business ecosystems, AI-powered personalisation, immersive AR experiences, mobile app influences, eco-friendly corporate products and the role of wedding platforms in the industry. Esteemed speakers such as Shobhit Madaan from Kudos Technologies, Amit Sehgal from PharynxAI, Manoj Shinde from Orbo.ai, Jayesh Rambhia from Plastivision India and Parthip Thyagarajan from Weddingsutra shared their insights on these subjects.
The inaugural day witnessed exhibitors presenting a diverse array of products from more than 3,500 brands, including Adidas, Levis, Jack & Jones, True Cook, Bugatti, UCB, Tommy Hilfiger, Swiss Military, Luxor, Philips, Pexpo, Woodland and U&I.
New attractions added to this year’s event included the ‘Start-Up Innovation Zone’, which showcased the latest products and innovations from entrepreneurs. The ‘Trending Products Showcase’ at the entrance displayed the latest in gifting solutions, while the ‘Sustainable Products Zone’ featured eco-friendly options ideal for corporate gifts. The ’Stationery Pavilion’ presented the newest trends in office supplies and the ‘Entertainment Zone’ provided interactive gaming, treats and photo opportunities, enhancing the exhibition experience.

Gifts World Expo 2024 will continue over the next two days, featuring a robust agenda of sessions, networking opportunities, and a showcase of top-tier gifting and promotional solutions. The second day will focus on partnership building and business discussions, while the final day will highlight trends in gifting and packaging, emphasising the need to stay attuned to consumer preferences and design aesthetics.
