Haldiram Snacks (Delhi) and Haldiram Foods International (Nagpur) have completed their merger to form Haldiram Snacks Food
The fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) businesses of Haldiram Snacks (Delhi) and Haldiram Foods International (Nagpur) have completed their merger to form Haldiram Snacks Food or HSFPL, Krishan Kumar Chutani, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Haldiram’s informed.
Sharing the information, Chutani wrote in a LinkedIn post, “A new chapter begins in the Haldiram story, and it is a significant one. We are excited to share that the FMCG businesses of Haldiram Snacks (Delhi) and Haldiram Foods International (Nagpur) have come together as one—Haldiram Snacks Food (HSFPL).”
KK Chutani further highlighted that this is not just a merger, but is a fresh start. He added that it is a meaningful coming together of legacy, passion, and a shared vision for the future.
“For years, the Haldiram name has stood for quality, flavour and familiarity. With HSFPL, we are staying true to that—but also taking things further. It is about keeping what is special and pushing ourselves to create what is next,” he added.
The snacking major has notified three strategic investors in Alpha Wave Global, International Holding Company and Temasek recently. The deals have been aimed at expanding the presence of the snack maker in the international markets, as per the media reports.
“Bringing these two forces together means more than scale, it means possibilities: For our people, it opens up new paths to grow, collaborate and lead. For our partners and vendors, it means deeper relationships and wider opportunities. And for our customers, it means everything you love, plus a lot of new things to look forward to,” Chutani added in his post.
The latest development around the completion of the merger comes one year after the merger was approved by the Competition Commission of India (CCI). Haldiram Foods International was operated by the Nagpur entity led by Kamalkumar Agrawal. On the other hand, Manohar Agarwal and Madhu Sudan Agarwal were leading Haldiram Snacks.
