In order to explore opportunities outside Britannia, Rajneet Singh Kohli, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Britannia Industries, has resigned from his position, the company informed the BSE in a filing on Thursday.
Kohli submitted his resignation on 5 March 2025 to explore opportunities outside Britannia. “Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Clause 7 of Para A of Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI Listing Regulations, 2015, this is to inform you that Rajneet Singh Kohli (DIN: 09743554), Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, has submitted his resignation on 5 March 2025 to pursue an opportunity outside Britannia,” the company stated in its regulatory filing.
Kohli has nearly three decades of experience in FMCG, consumer goods, retail, and digital transformation. At Britannia, he led initiatives focused on people, partnerships, digitalisation, and AI. Before joining Britannia, he was President and Chief Business Officer at Domino’s and had earlier worked with Coca-Cola and Asian Paints.
Varun Berry, Executive Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Britannia Industries, said, “Rajneet Singh Kohli has decided to resign from the services of the company to pursue an external opportunity. We thank him for his contribution during his tenure as CEO and board member, and wish him the best in his future endeavours.”
Following the announcement, Britannia Industries’ stock saw fluctuations, reaching an intraday high of Rs 4,799.9 and a low of Rs 4,654.65 on the NSE. The stock closed at Rs 4,702, down 0.42 per cent.
