Emphasising that the company is committed to passing on the benefits of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate cuts to the consumers, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) major Dabur has reduced the prices of products across categories.
Making the essential goods more affordable, the company has slashed the prices of products across brands including the Dabur Vatika, Chyawanprakash, Real Fruit Juice, Hajmola. In a revised price list issued, the company informed that Dabur Sarso Amla oil will now cost Rs 55 for the 170 ml pack, a reduction of Rs 14. Dabur Vatika hair oil of 275 ml will see a price reduction of Rs 28 and will retail at Rs 207.
“As part of the FMCG sector, we at Dabur are committed to passing on the benefits of reduced GST rates to our customers, making essential goods more affordable and boosting consumption. By simplifying tax slabs and reducing rates on everyday essentials, from toothpaste to shampoos, this move brings real relief to the common man,” the company said in a social media post.
Dabur Vatika health shampoo of 340 ml has seen a price reduction to Rs 39 to Rs 287. The 900 gram pack of Dabur Chyawanprakash sugar-free will now retail at Rs 440, a drop of Rs 35. The one-litre Real Fruit Power juice will see a drop of Rs 8 and now cost Rs 122. Dabur Red Paste of 200 gram will retail at Rs 135 as compared to Rs 153 earlier.
