Tata Group company strengthens offline footprint in Uttar Pradesh with immersive retail experience and expanded home appliance portfolio
Voltas inaugurated its first Company-Owned and Company-Operated (COCO) store in Lucknow as part of its wider retail expansion strategy aimed at strengthening consumer engagement and enhancing its presence across high-growth markets.
Located at Crystal City Centre in Ashiyana, the new store will offer a comprehensive range of products from Voltas and Voltas Beko, including air conditioners, air coolers, commercial refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves, dishwashers and water dispensers.
The launch marks the company’s first COCO outlet in Lucknow and reflects its focus on delivering a more immersive and customer-centric retail experience through direct operational control and product showcasing.
The store was inaugurated by Jayant Balan, Head – RAC Business, Jogesh Jaitly, Head – Sales, and Nirpesh Agarwal, CEO of Voltas Beko.
According to the company, the COCO format allows Voltas to maintain consistency in service quality while offering consumers access to its latest energy-efficient and technology-driven cooling and home appliance solutions.
Voltas Limited said Lucknow remains a strategically important market for the brand, where it currently holds more than 24 per cent market share in the Lucknow branch region and maintains a strong presence across North India.
Mukundan Menon, Managing Director of Voltas Limited, said the new store has been launched to provide consumers with a unique and engaging retail experience while showcasing products designed to improve comfort and convenience in daily life.
Jayant Balan, Head – RAC Business at Voltas Limited, said Lucknow represents a high-potential growth market driven by rising demand for energy-efficient and technologically advanced cooling solutions.
He added that the COCO format would help the company deepen consumer engagement, strengthen its distribution network and offer a differentiated buying and ownership experience backed by expert consultation and strong after-sales service.
Voltas said the launch aligns with its broader strategy of expanding its offline retail footprint across Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets in India.
Part of the Tata Group, Voltas has a nationwide network of more than 30,000 touch points and remains one of India’s leading consumer durables and air conditioning brands.
