Flipkart Food Fest 2025 Blends Flavour, Fun, Innovation

Star chefs, creators, and brands come together for a two-day gourmet celebration as Flipkart cements its position in India’s evolving food and lifestyle commerce

Flipkart, India’s homegrown ecommerce platform, hosted the second edition of its much-anticipated Food Fest 2025 on July 8 and 9 at its Bengaluru campus, in a celebration that brought together food enthusiasts, top chefs, influencers, and India’s leading FMCG brands. Complementing the on-ground buzz was a curated online sale from July 5–10, giving millions of customers access to gourmet collections, exclusive launches, and limited-time offers.

The fest drew 25,000+ footfalls, featured 40+ experience zones, and delivered over 100 million online impressions, with creators and attendees generating more than 1,000 pieces of original content. With 30+ brand showcases and 10 major launches from the likes of Dabur, Happilo, Saffola, and Sugar Free, Food Fest 2.0 spotlighted Flipkart’s ambitions to become a key player in India’s gourmet food discovery and community-led commerce.

A Platform for Culinary Creativity

The event was rich with immersive experiences—from live tastings and chef masterclasses to interactive brand activations and creator-led conversations. Chef Ranveer Brar, along with Flipkart Minutes VP Kanchan Mishra, led a lively cooking masterclass reimagining regional flavours, while Chef Pooja Dhingra offered hands-on baking techniques tailored for home bakers.

Comedian Rahul Subramanian entertained audiences with his signature humour, and music band Rosemary & The Herbs set the tone with a high-energy performance at the amphitheatre. Hosting the event was Maria Goretti, who also moderated a thought-provoking panel discussion on new-age food brands and shifting consumer behaviours.

Celebrating Food & Commerce at Scale

The event offered curated brand zones, culinary competitions, and sessions like the Mixology Masterclass by Cocktail Kompany and The Perfect Coffee Brewing Workshop, providing attendees with immersive insights into food innovation and trends. Flipkart’s omnichannel presence and tech-enabled infrastructure made it easy for attendees to engage both online and offline.

Nishant Dalal, Senior Director – Consumables (Beauty, FMCG & Healthcare), Flipkart, said, “With Food Fest 2025, we are building a new era of gourmet discovery, storytelling, and community commerce. It reflects Flipkart’s vision of integrating lifestyle, technology, and consumer delight at scale.”

Brand Partnerships that Matter

Vikas Nahar, Founder & CEO of Happilo, shared, “Food Fest 2025 gave us a vibrant, creator-driven platform to connect with food-forward consumers. The response was phenomenal.”

Lalit Ahuja, SVP – Sales, Zydus Wellness, added, “This event allowed us to bring our brand story to life. With interactive sessions and product demos, we reached a new generation of health-conscious buyers.”

From the seamless blend of technology and taste to its creator-led experiences, Flipkart Food Fest 2025 reaffirmed the platform’s commitment to category innovation, deep consumer engagement, and omnichannel growth—one gourmet bite at a time.
