McDonald’s Rolls Out Ranveer Singh Meal On City Cabs

The QSR giant turns city streets into a celebration of fandom with eye-catching cab branding and limited-edition meal curated for North and East India

 

In a bold and vibrant out-of-home activation, McDonald’s India (North & East) has taken to the streets with an attention-grabbing campaign to mark the launch of its new limited-edition offering — The Ranveer Singh Meal. Featuring none other than Bollywood superstar and the brand’s regional ambassador Ranveer Singh, the campaign has transformed everyday city commutes into mobile billboards that celebrate fandom and flavour.

The campaign’s centrepiece is a fleet of over 400 vibrantly branded cabs, rolling across high-traffic areas in Delhi, NCR, Lucknow, and Kolkata. Each vehicle sports striking visuals — larger-than-life cutouts of Ranveer Singh alongside McDonald’s iconic Golden Arches — turning heads and sparking conversations wherever they go. Strategically routed through high-footfall zones such as India Gate, Noida Sector 18, MG Road in Gurugram, Mani Square in Kolkata, and Lucknow’s Hazrat Ganj and Gomti Nagar, the campaign is designed to engage urban youth, college-goers, and professionals directly on the streets.

Inspired by McDonald’s global Famous Orders platform and rooted in authentic “fan truths”, this activation is a celebration of customer love for McDonald’s classics, elevated through the star power of Ranveer Singh. The cab branding reinforces his new role as the brand’s face in North and East India and brings that energy to the public in an unexpected and visually compelling way.

The limited-time meal itself features an indulgent line-up: customers can choose between a McVeggie or McChicken Xplode burger — both enhanced with a new chilli and creamy Xplode sauce and crispy onions for added crunch. The offering also includes Golden Crispy Pops, bite-sized potato treats perfect for snacking, and the Bobaaa Blast drink, featuring a scoop of poppy boba pearls for a playful, sippable finish.

Beyond the food, the activation seeks to deliver moments of joy and nostalgia in an engaging, street-level format. As the branded cabs criss-cross cityscapes, McDonald’s isn’t just selling a meal — it’s creating an experience, turning routine travel into a celebration of fan culture and delicious innovation.

Operated by Connaught Plaza Restaurants, McDonald’s India (North & East) serves millions across its more than 245 restaurants and 125 McCafés.
