Premium coffee brand opens second experiential store in India at Ambience Mall as demand for high-end home coffee grows
Nestlé India has expanded the retail footprint of its premium coffee brand Nespresso with the opening of a new boutique at Ambience Mall, marking another step in the company’s push to strengthen its presence in India’s premium coffee segment.
The immersive boutique follows the brand’s India retail debut at Select Citywalk in 2025 and aims to bring consumers closer to Nespresso’s signature coffee culture, premium machines and exclusive blends. The expansion reflects Nestlé India’s strategy to tap the growing demand for premium, in-home coffee experiences among urban consumers.
The Gurugram boutique has been designed as an experiential retail space where visitors can explore Nespresso’s range of coffee machines and blends across its Original and Professional systems. The store also offers guided tastings, personalised consultations and an opportunity for customers to discover different flavour profiles, enabling them to enhance their at-home or workplace coffee rituals.
According to Manish Tiwary, the move aligns with the rising appreciation for premium coffee experiences among Indian consumers. He noted that the success of the flagship store in Saket highlighted the strong potential for premium coffee culture in the country, and the Gurugram boutique represents another step towards expanding that experience.
The expansion also improves accessibility for coffee enthusiasts in the National Capital Region, as Gurugram continues to emerge as a key market for premium lifestyle and food and beverage brands.
The brand’s operations in India are supported by Thakral Innovations Pvt. Ltd., which serves as the official distribution partner covering the full range of Nespresso coffee products across channels.
Globally, Nespresso works with more than 157,000 coffee farmers across 18 countries through its AAA Sustainable Quality Programme, developed in collaboration with the Rainforest Alliance, to promote sustainable farming practices and support long-term supply of high-quality coffee.
With rising urban coffee consumption and increasing interest in premium coffee machines and blends, Nestlé India expects experiential retail formats such as these boutiques to play a crucial role in building deeper engagement with consumers and expanding the brand’s footprint in the country.
