New fruit-forward beverage expands Starbucks Refreshers™ range as demand grows for lighter, summer-ready drinks
Tata Starbucks has expanded its Starbucks Refreshers™ beverage lineup in India with the launch of the Valencia Orange Peach Refresher™, as the coffee chain taps into rising demand for lighter, fruit-forward drinks among younger consumers.
The new beverage, crafted with green coffee extract sourced from unroasted Arabica beans, forms part of a broader Refreshers™ portfolio designed to offer a lightly caffeinated and refreshing alternative to traditional coffee beverages. The launch comes as India’s coffee culture evolves, with consumers increasingly seeking expressive, flavour-led drinks suited to fast-paced, on-the-go lifestyles.
The Valencia Orange Peach Refresher™ combines Valencia orange flavour with freeze-dried peach inclusions and is shaken with ice to deliver a bright, citrus-forward taste and a clean finish. The beverage is positioned as a summer-friendly option intended for quick refreshment during warm weather or afternoon breaks.
The drink joins an existing range of Starbucks Refreshers™ available in India, including the Strawberry Açaí Lemonade Refresher™, Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher™, and Lychee Raspberry Refresher™. Each beverage in the lineup blends fruit flavours with green coffee extract to create a balanced drink with subtle caffeine and a crisp finish.
The Strawberry Açaí Refresher™ combines strawberry and açaí berry flavours with lemonade and freeze-dried strawberry pieces, offering a blend of sweetness and mild tartness. The Mango Dragonfruit Refresher™ features tropical mango and dragon fruit flavours paired with lemonade and freeze-dried fruit inclusions, while the Lychee Raspberry Refresher™ brings together delicate lychee sweetness and tangy raspberry notes with freeze-dried lychee pieces.
According to Tata Starbucks, the Refreshers™ range has become a key focus area for beverage innovation as consumers look for drinks that are lighter yet flavourful.
Mitali Maheshwari, Head of Product and Marketing at Tata Starbucks, said the brand is continuing to expand its beverage portfolio to match changing consumer preferences.

The Starbucks Refreshers™ range, including the newly launched Valencia Orange Peach variant, is now available across Tata Starbucks stores nationwide.
