Momo, India’s largest homegrown quick service restaurant (QSR) brand, has announced the launch of India’s first gluten-free momos — a first-of-its-kind innovation aimed at health-conscious and gluten-sensitive consumers across the country. Made using a nutritious blend of quinoa and chickpeas, this new range signals a powerful move to make indulgent street-style food more inclusive and mindful.
The gluten-free momos are designed to meet the evolving demands of India’s rapidly growing health-conscious population. According to a recent report, India’s gluten-free food and beverage market is valued at USD 22.25 million and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 13.93%. Wow! Momo’s latest offering taps directly into this trend, offering a high-protein, flavour-rich option for consumers with dietary restrictions, fitness goals, or wellness-driven lifestyles.

To bring this launch to life, Wow! Momo has teamed up with celebrity chef Ranveer Brar for a digital campaign that underscores the brand’s core belief — that great taste should never come with compromise.

Available initially across 11 major metro cities, the gluten-free momos are part of Wow! Momo’s strategic expansion plan to strengthen its health-forward offerings. The brand also plans to introduce the product in its FMCG-ready-to-eat segment soon, making these inclusive treats more widely available to consumers across India.

Kulfi — across more than 70 cities. The company is eyeing aggressive growth, targeting 1,500 stores in 100 cities over the next three years.
