Mahindra Logistics (MLL) has revealed that the construction of a warehousing facility in Phaltan, Maharashtra, with an investment of Rs 170 crore. The strategic move aims to cater to the rising demand in the region, particularly within the automotive and manufacturing sectors.

Spanning 6.5 lakh square feet, the facility will be built in two phases. The first phase, covering 3.5 lakh square feet, is slated to be operational by the end of 2024. Leveraging its expertise, MLL will manage inbound logistics, manufacturing, and distribution solutions for diverse clients in the vicinity.

“Our commitment to continuous improvement and exceeding customer expectations drives our expansion across India,” remarked Rampraveen Swaminathan, Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer, MLL.

He further emphasised the strategic location of the Phaltan facility, highlighting its proximity to key players in the automotive original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and component sectors.

Furthermore, the Rs 170 crore investment encompasses not only the development of the facility itself but also related infrastructure crucial for seamless operations.
