Indian quick commerce platform Swiggy Instamart has teamed up with Park+, India’s largest FASTag distribution platform, to offer IndusInd Bank FASTag delivery to Swiggy Instamart users within 10 minutes, redefining convenience and accessibility
According to the official information from Swiggy Instamart, this initiative marks the first time a quick commerce or e-commerce platform in India has facilitated the delivery of FASTag directly to consumers’ doorsteps. Available across 29 cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bangalore, this service changes the traditional process of acquiring a FASTag, making it hassle-free and instantly accessible to customers.
FASTag, a crucial component for modern-day car owners, facilitates seamless digital payments at toll booths and parking spots, eliminating the need for cash transactions. With over 7.98 crore FASTags issued in India as of November 2023, the partnership between Swiggy Instamart and Park+ aims to bridge the gap in the market by providing a swift and convenient solution for accessing FASTag.
Phani Kishan, Head of Swiggy Instamart, expressed the significance of this collaboration, stating, “FASTag epitomises seamless payment and convenience, and access to it should be equally seamless. Traditionally, acquiring a FASTag involved lengthy processes, including applying through bank portals or visiting toll booths, resulting in waiting times ranging from 3 to 7 days for card delivery and activation. With FASTag now available on Swiggy Instamart, users can procure it anytime, anywhere, with delivery wait times reduced to under 10 minutes.”
