With Rs 200 Cr annualised revenue and eyes on Rs 500 Cr by FY26, the skincare brand sharpens focus on quick commerce, global expansion, and tech-driven innovation
Deconstruct, the science-led skincare brand known for its high-efficacy, gentle formulations, has reported a landmark performance for the financial year 2024–25 (FY25), achieving a 10X increase in top-line revenue and double-digit ebitda profitability (adjusted for one-time costs). The brand has now set its sights on crossing Rs 500 crore in annualised net revenue by FY26.
Driven by product-market alignment and consumer-centric innovation, Deconstruct’s FY25 success was anchored in its focus on high-performing SKUs and beginner-friendly products such as non-greasy sunscreens and stable Vitamin C serums. Strategic identification of market gaps, sharp audience targeting, and optimised marketing spends further enhanced efficiency, resulting in lower customer acquisition costs and improved ROI.
Recently, Deconstruct raised Rs 65 crore in funding from BOLD (L’Oréal’s VC fund), V3 Ventures, and DSG Consumer Partners, with continued backing from Kalaari Capital and Beenext. The brand closed FY25 with Rs 200 crore in annualised net revenue and aims to more than double that by FY26.
Deconstruct is now strengthening its presence in quick commerce, aiming for its hero products to rank among the top three SKUs across leading platforms. With profitability as its bedrock, the brand is preparing for global expansion and investing in product innovation, technology, and international distribution.
“Our journey has just begun,” said Malini Adapureddy, CEO and Founder of Deconstruct. “This milestone validates the trust of our community and our commitment to transparency and science-led skincare. We’re building not just a brand, but a movement that prioritises efficacy, empathy, and ethical growth.”
Founded by IIT Kharagpur alumna Malini Adapureddy, Deconstruct champions evidence-based, non-irritating skincare. With its motto, Highly Effective Yet Gentle, the brand continues to redefine modern skincare for consumers in India and soon, across the globe.
