Ethical beauty brand introduces a warm, modern scent across EDT, fragrance mist and body cream formats
British-born international ethical beauty brand The Body Shop has expanded its fragrance portfolio with the launch of Tender Tonka, a new range designed to deliver a bold yet comforting scent experience. The collection blends warmth, spice and depth with creamy tonka notes, creating a fragrance that is both intriguing and effortlessly wearable.
The Tender Tonka range is built around a rich and layered scent profile, opening with wild hawthorn, black pepper and incense, moving into a heart of benzoin, rock rose and vanilla orchid, and settling into a base of tonka bean, cedarwood and suede. Together, these notes offer a balanced composition that feels sensual, modern and cocooning.
At the centre of the launch is the Tender Tonka Eau de Toilette (EDT), described as a spiced yet comforting fragrance with depth and presence. Designed for everyday elegance, the EDT opens with peppery and resinous notes before melting into creamy tonka and soft suede. It is priced at ₹2,695.
The collection also includes a Tender Tonka Fragrance Mist, a lighter, alcohol-based option ideal for layering or midday refreshment. Featuring notes of black pepper, vanilla orchid and tonka bean, the mist offers a warm, woody dry-down of suede and cedarwood and is priced at Rs 1,895.
Completing the range is the Tender Tonka Body Cream, a richly textured moisturiser formulated for normal-to-dry skin. Enriched with Community Fair Trade shea butter from Ghana, the cream nourishes the skin while leaving behind a subtle tonka-infused fragrance, making it ideal for scent layering. The body cream is priced at ₹2,095.
Designed to be worn alone or layered together, the Tender Tonka range offers an immersive fragrance ritual that brings warmth and comfort into daily routines.
