Hilary Rhoda Targets Festive Beauty Demand With ‘Iss Festive Thoda Aurr’

The beauty brand combines humour-led micro-dramas, makeup tutorials, creator-led classes and a festive kit to encourage consumers to experiment with affordable, expressive beauty looks

Beauty brand Hilary Rhoda has unveiled its festive campaign, ‘Iss Festive Thoda Aurr’, encouraging consumers to experiment with bolder makeup looks and express their individuality during the festive season.

Built around the message ‘Don’t do just enough. Do MORE’, the campaign seeks to tap into the Indian festive season’s emphasis on elaborate celebrations, personal expression and social gatherings. It positions makeup as an accessible way for consumers to move beyond everyday looks and embrace brighter, more glamorous styles.

The initiative brings together entertainment-led content, online beauty tutorials, creator-led makeup classes and a specially curated festive kit, as the brand seeks to make professional-quality makeup more accessible to consumers.

Humour-Led Content To Drive Engagement
The campaign features a series of short micro-dramas based on familiar Indian family situations during festive preparations. Using relatable scenarios and humour, the content aims to capture the excitement and emotions associated with getting ready for celebrations while encouraging consumers to experiment with their beauty looks.

The storytelling reflects the brand’s focus on affordable makeup that allows consumers to explore different styles without compromising on individual expression.

Creator-Led Tutorials And Makeup Classes
Extending the campaign beyond digital storytelling, Hilary Rhoda will introduce its ‘More Is More’ festive self-makeup initiative. Budding makeup artists will share online tutorials demonstrating festive looks that consumers can recreate using the brand’s products.

The initiative will also include curated online and offline makeup classes led by mega creators. These sessions are intended to help consumers learn new techniques, experiment with different looks and build confidence in applying makeup.

By combining digital tutorials with interactive learning experiences, the brand aims to encourage greater consumer participation during the festive season.

Vatsal Agrawal, Co-founder and CMO of Hilary Rhoda, said the campaign was designed to make festive beauty more accessible and enjoyable, allowing consumers to experiment with makeup and express their personal style.

“Festive beauty should feel exciting and accessible, not complicated,” Agrawal said, adding that the initiative combines relatable storytelling, easy-to-follow tutorials and a curated festive kit to encourage consumers to explore new looks.

Festive Kit Targets Beauty And Gifting
The brand is also set to introduce a specially curated festive kit featuring essential beauty products designed to help consumers transform everyday makeup into celebration-ready looks.

The kit is positioned as a convenient option for consumers seeking a coordinated festive beauty selection without purchasing multiple products separately. It is also intended to serve as a gifting option during the festive period.

With ‘Iss Festive Thoda Aurr’, Hilary Rhoda is combining content, beauty education and product offerings to encourage consumers to embrace more expressive makeup looks. The campaign centres on making festive glamour more accessible while allowing consumers to experiment with their individual styles.
