The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 95.48 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal (Q3FY25)
As the company’s existing premium brand sales and new product development pipeline remained robust, Radico Khaitan, a liquor maker has marked a 27 per cent Year-on-Year uptick in its net profit in the third quarter of the current financial year (Q3FY25). The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 95.48 crore in Q3FY25, as compared to Rs 75.15 crore in Q3FY24.
The unaudited consolidated financial results of the company revealed an 8 per cent YoY uptick in the revenue from operations as it rose to Rs 4,440.90 crore in the recently concluded quarter from Rs 4,111.23 crore in Q3FY24. The total expenses of the company also rose to Rs 4,312.09 crore in Q3FY25 from Rs 4,017.93 crore in Q3FY24.
“Our premium brands have maintained their robust growth trajectory, and the regular brands have also shown a sharp recovery after nine quarters of decline. We continue to advance our strategy of elevating Indian brands to a global scale, meeting evolving consumer aspirations, driving growth through premiumisation, and exploring new opportunities in the spirits industry,” stated Lalit Khaitan, Chairman and Managing Director of the company.
Radico Khaitan’s total IMFL volume marked a 15.3 per cent YoY rise during the quarter at 8.36 million cases. On the other hand, Prestige & Above brands volume was up 17.7 per cent to 3.67 million cases. The company stated that Prestige & Above brands contributed to the IMFL volumes of 50.9 per cent.
The company posted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of Rs 183.2 crore, marking an uptick of 28.8 per cent YoY. Khaitan added that they are confident in the medium to long-term potential of the Indian spirits industry and Radico Khaitan’s competitive growth prospects.
