Nestlé India Elevates Jaikishan Gianani As South Asia Procurement Head

Gianani, who joined Nestlé in 2012, will lead strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships and procurement resilience across the South Asia region

 

Nestlé India has appointed Jaikishan Gianani as Head of Procurement, South Asia Region, effective August 1, 2026. In his new role, Gianani will lead strategic sourcing, strengthen supplier partnerships and build greater resilience across the company’s procurement operations to support its growth ambitions in South Asia.

Gianani joined Nestlé in 2012 as a Management Trainee after graduating from SPJIMR, Mumbai. Over the past 14 years, he has built a career spanning procurement and supply chain functions, gaining experience across both domestic and international operations.

His career at Nestlé includes international exposure with the Nestrade Procurement Hub, leadership of Packaging Procurement and involvement in strategic procurement projects. He has also held a factory supply chain leadership role at Nanjangud.

Prior to his latest appointment, Gianani served as Procurement Lead – Commodities, where he was responsible for sourcing and risk management across multiple categories.

Known for his strategic approach, commercial acumen and collaborative leadership style, Gianani has focused on delivering business outcomes while developing high-performing teams.

His appointment comes as procurement increasingly plays a strategic role in strengthening supply chains, managing sourcing risks and supporting business growth. Nestlé India said Gianani’s elevation reflects the strength of its internal talent pipeline and reinforces its commitment to positioning procurement as a strategic growth lever for the South Asia region.
