As demand for functional nutrition is on the rise, Upnourish by Pluckk has seen exponential traction, recording a five times overall growth in last 1.5 years. The brand’s functional plant protein range has driven the surge at ten-fold growth.
Currently available in three flavours across over 50 Indian cities through key retail chains, digital marketplaces and direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels, the brand is also set to introduce a fourth flavour following its expansion into the United Kingdom, marking its first venture outside India.
“India’s approach to health today has fundamentally evolved, with consumers actively seeking clean-label and functional products that fit seamlessly into their daily routines. Pluckk has always stood for safe, fresh and clean choices and with Upnourish joining the ecosystem, the brand is now further strengthening its nutrition offering bringing everyday wellness without preservatives, sugar, or palm oil,” stated Pratik Gupta, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-founder, Pluckk.
The brand’s personalised nutrition services, along with its functional foods portfolio including meal-replacement shakes and soups, have each witnessed three-fold growth. For nutrition programs, women consumers have been a primary growth driver, seeking support for fat loss, PMOS, thyroid, diabetes and metabolic health.
The company added that while 70 per cent of users come from India’s top metros, a fast-growing 30 per cent now belongs to tier 2 cities, a clear sign that preventive wellness is finding new ground well beyond urban centres.
Pluckk is currently operating with an annualised revenue run rate of Rs 100 crore in the financial year 2025. The growth performance of Upnourish adds a high margin to a portfolio that spans cold-pressed juices, clean-label FMCG and fresh farm produce.
Going forward, the brand aims to further strengthen its presence across these categories while continuing to build accessible, science-backed nutrition solutions for consumers in India and global markets.
