Fastest-growing vertical scales rapidly as demand for quick home services rises in metros
Urban Company has crossed 1 million monthly delivered bookings for its quick-service housekeeping vertical, InstaHelp, with three days still remaining in March, according to a company statement. The vertical has emerged as the fastest-scaling business unit in the company’s history, following closely on the back of more than 50,000 daily orders recorded in February.
InstaHelp is currently operational across Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Pune, offering services such as cleaning, dishwashing, laundry and meal preparation, with professionals deployed within 10–15 minutes of booking.
“InstaHelp’s trajectory is a testament to the trust our consumers place in the platform for their most immediate, everyday needs,” said Abhiraj Singh Bhal.
The development comes amid rising demand for instant housekeeping services. Startup Snabbit recorded 830,000 orders in February, up from about 500,000 in December.
Rival platforms are also expanding. Anjali Sardana said in February that Pronto had scaled to over 15,000 bookings per day within 10 months of launch, adding that the platform burned just over USD 8 million in the past year.
In terms of financials, InstaHelp’s adjusted Ebitda loss widened to Rs 61 crore in the December quarter of FY26 from Rs 44 crore in the previous quarter. At the company level, Urban Company reported a 33 per cent year-on-year increase in operating revenue to Rs 383 crore, driven by new user growth, steady revenue retention and festive demand in core categories.
