Third edition of India’s premier textiles and apparel event to be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi; aims to strengthen India’s position as a sustainable global sourcing hub
The Bharat Tex Trade Federation (BTTF) has announced the third edition of Bharat Tex — India’s premier global textiles and apparel event — scheduled to take place from 14 to 17 July 2026 at the iconic Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The announcement, made during a press conference organised by BTTF, marked the formal launch of preparations for the 2026 edition. BTTF, a consortium of leading Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) and industry associations, shared the vision and scale of what is expected to be the largest and most influential edition yet.
The first two editions of Bharat Tex have firmly established the event as India’s Global Mega Textiles Platform. The 2025 edition, held across Bharat Mandapam and the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, spanned over 2.2 million sq. ft. and featured 5,000+ exhibitors, 6,000 international buyers from 120+ countries, and over 1,20,000 visitors. With more than 80 knowledge sessions, 8,000+ B2B/B2G meetings, and export opportunities worth approximately USD 2.5 billion, it also secured investment commitments exceeding ₹2,100 crore.
Speaking at the announcement, Mr Naren Goenka, Chairman, BTTF, said the 2026 edition will build on this momentum to take Bharat Tex “to new heights as India’s unified showcase for the textile value chain”. He added that the event will continue to reflect the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s 5F Vision — Farm to Fibre, Fibre to Factory, Factory to Fashion, and Fashion to Foreign — encapsulating the entire journey of Indian textiles under one roof.
“The 2026 edition will embody the ethos of Reform, Perform, Transform and Inform, highlighting how India’s textile ecosystem is moving towards innovation, inclusivity and sustainability,” Goenka said.
Mr Bhadresh Dodhia, Co-Chairman, BTTF, announced that the Global Textile Dialogue 2026 will be a marquee feature of the event. The forum will bring together global industry leaders, CXOs, policymakers, and sustainability experts to deliberate on Industry 4.0, ESG imperatives, R&D collaborations, and emerging trade dynamics shaping the future of textiles.
Dodhia added that Bharat Tex 2026 will serve as a global platform for MSMEs, start-ups, and artisans to access new opportunities, investors, and technology partners. “It will further strengthen India’s position as a sustainable and trusted sourcing hub,” he said, noting that the event will spotlight circular manufacturing, responsible production, and design-led innovation.
Beyond business, the 2026 edition promises to be a celebration of craftsmanship and creativity, featuring design labs, innovation pavilions, and fashion showcases.
As the global textile community prepares to gather in New Delhi next July, Bharat Tex 2026 is set to weave together innovation, sustainability, and collaboration — telling India’s most compelling textile story yet.
