DSM Fresh Foods Delivers Robust H1 FY26 Performance

Zappfresh parent company posts 43 per cent revenue growth and 188 per cent Ebitda surge in its first results post-listing, driven by strong execution & expanding customer base

 

DSM Fresh Foods, operating under the Zappfresh brand, has reported a strong financial performance for the first half of FY26, marking its first results since listing on the stock exchange. The company recorded sharp year-on-year growth across key metrics, underscoring its scalable business model, strong consumer traction, and disciplined operational execution.

For the six months ended 30 September 2025, DSM Fresh Foods reported Revenue from Operations of Rs 95.85 crore, up 43 per cent YoY from Rs 66.92 crore. Gross Profit rose 68 per cent to Rs 32.17 crore, while Ebitda surged 188 per cent to Rs 14.92 crore from Rs 5.18 crore in the same period last year. Profit After Tax (PAT) also nearly tripled, rising to Rs 7.03 crore from Rs 2.44 crore in H1 FY25.

The company attributed this strong performance to sustained revenue growth, improved profitability, and enhanced operational efficiencies across its tech-enabled fresh food supply chain. It also noted that its working capital cycle increased due to extended credit to key B2B clients to support sales momentum, while maintaining a comfortable leverage position for future expansion.

Commenting on the results, Deepanshu Manchanda, Founder & CEO of DSM Fresh Foods, said, “This is our first result post-listing, and it reinforces the confidence the market placed in us. Delivering 43 per cent revenue growth and nearly tripling Ebitda and PAT within a year underscores the scalability of our integrated supply chain and the loyalty of our customer base.”

He added that H1 FY26 revenue already represents 73 per cent of the company’s full-year FY25 revenue, while PBT matched FY25’s entire annual figure within just six months, signalling strong execution and cost discipline.

“The fresh meat and ready-to-cook market in India is formalising rapidly, and consumers are choosing hygienic, trustworthy brands. Zappfresh stands at the centre of this shift, supported by our strengthened cold-chain infrastructure and expanding metro footprint,” Manchanda said.

Founded in 2015, DSM Fresh Foods operates as a vertically integrated fresh protein and ready-to-cook company under the Zappfresh brand. Headquartered in Gurugram, the company manages a tech-enabled cold chain, direct sourcing partnerships, and in-house processing facilities to ensure quality and freshness across digital and physical retail channels.
