With expansion plans underway for the US and Canada, the brand is strengthening its global footprint as an Indian-origin single-malt with international appeal
The GlenJourneys, a premium single-malt whisky brand by Ajay Devgn and Cartel Bros, has reported a total turnover of Rs 4.14 crore and recorded sales of over 8,622 bottles. Since entering the market, The GlenJourneys has significantly widened its footprint across key Indian markets, establishing a presence in 437 retail outlets nationwide.
Building on this momentum, the brand is set to further expand its portfolio with the launch of a new smoky variant slated for June 2026. Currently, The GlenJourneys has opted for a tactical distribution with a network mapping and has registered across six states in India. These include Maharashtra (since October 2025), Goa, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi in January 2026, and Haryana in February 2026.
“Watching the brand grow steadily while earning international recognition gives us every reason to celebrate. I am deeply involved in shaping a brand that resonates with Indian audiences, especially beyond metro cities, through premium retail and on-trade channels. With growing demand, we are optimistic about strong sales momentum going forward,” stated Ajay Devgn, Co-founder, The GlenJourneys.
The GlenJourneys recently partnered with Sonal Hollandfor curated sommelier tastings across leading hotels and restaurants in Mumbai, while also securing export orders to Dubai for 900 bottles of its Cask Series and 150 bottles of its 21-year-old expression. With expansion plans underway for the US and Canada, the brand is strengthening its global footprint as an Indian-origin single-malt with international appeal.
“The GlenJourneys’ growth reflects a shift in how Indian whisky enthusiasts appreciate and consume Scotch today. Our deep understanding of the Indian palate has helped position the brand as a natural choice across occasions and menus. With such a positive response in its early days, we are confident the journey ahead will be equally spirited,” highlighted Mokksh Sani, Founder of Living Liquidz and Mansionz and Co-founder, Cartel Bros.
The official statement added that the brand’s go-to-market strategy is closely aligned with evolving Indian consumer preferences, particularly within the premium aged single-malt whisky category. Spearheaded by Ajay Devgn in partnership with the Cartel Bros leadership team, including co-founders Mokksh Sani, Jitin Merani and Rohan Nihalani, the expansion has been driven by a curated market-entry plan.
