Healthy food brand launches cloud kitchen in Serilingampalle as it eyes deeper market penetration and accelerated expansion across India
Salad Days, one of India’s leading healthy food brands, has expanded its footprint into Hyderabad with the launch of a new cloud kitchen in Serilingampalle, marking the company’s entry into the city and its latest step towards building a stronger pan-India presence.
The expansion follows the brand’s established operations across Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai, and comes as demand for healthier and more convenient food options continues to rise among urban consumers. Founded in 2014, Salad Days has built its reputation around fresh, macro-balanced meals and has emerged as a prominent player in India’s growing healthy foods segment.
With the Hyderabad launch, Salad Days now operates a network of 50 cloud kitchens nationwide, comprising 26 kitchens in Delhi-NCR, 12 in Bengaluru, 11 in Mumbai and one in Hyderabad. The company said the new facility will initially cater to customers in Nallagandla and Lingampally, offering a range of products designed for health-conscious consumers.
Customers will have access to the brand’s portfolio of signature salads, nourish bowls, pita pockets, smoothies and build-your-own salad options. The Hyderabad kitchen will also serve Salad Days’ recently introduced healthy snacking range, featuring high-protein and nutrient-rich products aimed at everyday consumption.
The move comes amid increasing consumer preference for nutritious meals that do not compromise on taste, quality or convenience. Industry observers note that health-focused food brands have gained traction in recent years as urban consumers become more conscious of wellness and dietary choices.
Commenting on the launch, Varun Madan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Salad Days, said Hyderabad’s food culture made it a natural choice for the company’s next phase of growth.
“Hyderabad has always had its own quiet wisdom about food. Here, a meal has never been a transaction. It is a way of remembering, of holding the old and the new in the same hand, the familiar and the carried-in on the same plate. The city wears its appetites the way it wears its monuments, with a quiet, lived-in grace. We’re grateful for the chance to be a small, new part of that conversation,” Madan said.
The company expects Hyderabad to make a meaningful contribution to its growth over the next 12 months as it scales operations in the market. The expansion forms part of Salad Days’ broader FY26 growth strategy, which includes entering new cities while strengthening its presence in existing markets.
The brand said the latest launch reinforces its long-term ambition of building one of India’s most trusted and scalable healthy food platforms. As competition intensifies in the organised healthy foods segment, Salad Days is betting on its cloud kitchen-led model, product innovation and focus on quality to drive future growth.
Founded by Varun Madan in 2014, Salad Days operates through a network of cloud kitchens, central kitchens and a farm-based supply ecosystem. The company sells through its own channels as well as major food delivery platforms, including Swiggy, Zomato, Ownly and ONDC, serving consumers across several Indian cities.
