Starbucks India, AJSK Brew Festive Couture Magic This Diwali

A first-of-its-kind collaboration fuses coffee, couture, and culture with an exclusive festive gift box that celebrates artistry, indulgence, and togetherness

This festive season, Starbucks India has joined hands with iconic designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla (AJSK) to unveil a Diwali collection that blends the worlds of coffee and couture. The collaboration marks a creative confluence of taste, texture, and tradition — a limited-edition Diwali Gift Box that celebrates the spirit of light, joy, and shared moments.

Designed to embody Starbucks’ essence as a welcoming “third place” — or as many fondly call it, “humari special jagah” — the AJSK x Starbucks partnership captures the warmth of connection and community that defines the festive season in India. Over the years, Starbucks has collaborated globally with renowned designers, but this marks one of its most culturally rooted partnerships in India — a union of modern coffee culture and timeless Indian craftsmanship.

The Diwali Gift Box features four signature elements, each reflecting thoughtful indulgence and elevated design:

Ivory Mug with Gilded Detailing: A couture-inspired collectible that mirrors India’s cultural opulence through intricate motifs of architecture, flora, fauna, and the peacock — a signature emblem of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The mug transforms each coffee moment into a ritual of refinement.

‘Mehbooba’ Candle: A sensorial masterpiece from AJSK’s luxury line, the candle combines romantic rose notes with deep Arabic oud, enveloping spaces in a warm, mysterious glow.

Starbucks® Diwali Blend: Sourced from the lush coffee estates of Karnataka, this limited-edition blend offers nutty, spiced undertones — a flavour profile designed to echo the glow and togetherness of Diwali.

Classic French Press: A timeless piece for slow, mindful brewing, adding an intimate, handcrafted touch to the festive experience.

Speaking about the collaboration, Sushant Dash, CEO, TATA Starbucks, said, “At Starbucks, we believe in celebrating moments that matter – of connection, warmth, and shared tradition. Diwali is one such occasion, and through our collaboration with Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, we are honouring the festival in a way that is both timeless and deeply rooted in Indian culture. Our stores have always been a special jagah — a familiar space where people gather to share joy over coffee, and this gift box is an extension of that spirit.”

Echoing this sentiment, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla described the partnership as, “A sensory delight of couture-inspired aesthetics, a luxury scented candle, and delicious coffee enveloped in one joyous offering. It is a box full of absolute indulgence.”

The collaboration underscores Starbucks’ deepening engagement with India’s festive and cultural landscape. As the country’s coffee culture evolves beyond cafés into lifestyle experiences, this partnership with one of India’s most revered design houses cements the brand’s position at the intersection of luxury, art, and everyday connection.

Available for a limited time, the AJSK x Starbucks Diwali Collection invites customers to carry a piece of festive artistry with every brew — a celebration of India’s craftsmanship and its ever-growing love affair with coffee.
