The expanded partnership introduces Vanilla and Mango Protein Cold Foam drinks, reflecting growing consumer appetite for convenient, protein-rich beverage options
Tata Starbucks and protein-focused food brand SuperYou have expanded their collaboration with the addition of two protein-enriched beverages, as companies increasingly seek to address rising consumer demand for functional foods and beverages.
The new offerings include Vanilla Protein Cold Foam and Mango Protein Cold Foam beverages, each providing up to 18 grams of protein. The drinks will be available across Starbucks stores in India as part of the companies’ ongoing partnership.
The move builds on an earlier collaboration between the two brands, under which protein-enhanced coffee beverages were introduced at Starbucks outlets.
According to the companies, the beverages are aimed at consumers looking for convenient ways to increase their daily protein intake through products already integrated into their routines. The development reflects growing demand for functional beverages that combine nutrition with convenience.
Growing Protein Demand
Actor and SuperYou Co-founder Ranveer Singh features in the campaign supporting the new products. Commenting on the collaboration, Singh said coffee has long been an integral part of his daily routine and described the addition of protein cold foam to Starbucks’ Iced Shaken Espresso as an option that combines taste with added nutrition.
Protein-enriched products continue to gain traction across categories such as beverages, snacks and desserts, prompting brands to expand their portfolios with higher-protein alternatives. Companies are increasingly targeting consumers seeking improved nutritional intake without significantly altering their existing consumption habits.
