Located in Khajaguda, Hyderabad, the store offers an immersive journey into global coffee craftsmanship infused with Indian culture and flavours
Tata Starbucks has announced the launch of its first coffee experiential store in South India, located in the fast-growing neighbourhood of Khajaguda, Hyderabad. Following successful launches in Punjabi Bagh, Delhi and Dhanraj Mahal, Mumbai, this new opening marks the third such concept in India—bringing the global coffeehouse’s unique storytelling format and sensory brewing experiences to southern audiences.
With its distinctive design, curated coffee rituals, and regionally inspired offerings, the store aims to redefine how Indian consumers engage with their cup of coffee—one connection, one flavour, one story at a time.
A Destination for Coffee Discovery
Hyderabad’s evolution into a cultural and culinary hotspot makes it an ideal setting for Starbucks’ latest experiential concept. The store has been designed to embody Starbucks’ design language of storytelling, complete with dedicated Espresso Zones and Brew Bars. These spaces allow customers to interact with Starbucks baristas and explore the art and science of brewing, from bean to cup.
Sushant Dash, CEO of Tata Starbucks, said, “The launch of our third coffee experiential store in India is a testament to our commitment to redefining how Indians experience coffee. Hyderabad’s vibrant cultural and culinary evolution makes it an ideal destination for a concept that brings together global coffee craftsmanship and regional heritage. At Khajaguda, we’re creating immersive, memorable moments for our customers—one cup, one connection at a time.”
A Celebration of Indian Ingredients
The Khajaguda store introduces a curated menu of Starbucks-exclusive beverages rooted in Indian traditions and local palates. These include Cinnamon Jaggery Latte, Malabar Coconut Cream Latte, Cocoa Birds Eye Chilli Latte and Tamarind Red Peroo Shikanji Cold Brew.
Infused with flavours like jaggery, coconut, chilli, and tamarind, these handcrafted drinks bridge Indian culinary heritage with global coffee innovation—offering a one-of-a-kind sensory experience.
Precision Craftsmanship, Global Beans
In keeping with its global standards of quality, the Khajaguda store showcases Starbucks’ legendary sourcing and roasting expertise, with beans handpicked from some of the world’s most renowned growing regions including India, Kenya, Sumatra, Colombia, and Latin America.
Customers can explore five exclusive espresso bean options and thirteen whole bean variants, including Starbucks® Single-Origin Zambia, Starbucks® Single-Origin Colombia, Starbucks Willow Blend, Pike Place Roast and Starbucks® House Blend.
The store also features the Black Eagle espresso machine—a manual, precision-controlled brewing system that allows Starbucks Coffee Masters to customise every extraction, ensuring a consistent and personalised experience.
An Experiential Format for a New Generation of Coffee Lovers
Rooted in the belief that every cup tells a story, Starbucks’ experiential format is more than just a retail space—it’s a journey through the origins, techniques, and tastes that define its global coffee narrative. Visitors to the Khajaguda store are invited to engage with baristas, learn about coffee sourcing, and experience the brewing process in a hands-on, interactive setting.
From sourcing sustainable Arabica beans to brewing with cutting-edge equipment and presenting beverages tailored for the Indian palate, the store is a fusion of global best practices and local sensibilities.
