This expansion comes hot on the heels of Simpl’s recent integration with Zomato, demonstrating its commitment to providing seamless payment solutions across various platforms.

The announcement was made by Simpl on Tuesday, underlining its ambition to facilitate quick deliveries and streamline the checkout process for Zepto’s customers while offering enticing rewards.

Since its introduction as a payment option on Zepto in January 2022, Simpl has witnessed remarkable traction, processing over 13 million checkouts on the platform thus far.

Notably, Simpl boasts a retention rate higher than the industry average, indicating a strong preference for its user-friendly BNPL services among Zepto’s clientele.

According to insights shared by Simpl, nearly one-fourth of all non-UPI and non-cash on delivery (COD) checkouts on Zepto occur through Simpl, emphasising the platform’s popularity and efficacy in facilitating hassle-free transactions.

For Simpl, the quick commerce segment represents one of the fastest-growing categories, with an impressive 50 per cent year-on-year growth in transactions and a 25 per cent increase in average order value recorded in February 2024 compared to the previous year.

Such robust growth underscores Simpl’s pivotal role in driving the evolution of digital payments in the burgeoning quick commerce landscape.

Currently, Simpl boasts a vast network of over 26,000 merchants on its platform, further solidifying its position as a preferred payment partner for businesses seeking to offer flexible and convenient payment options to their customers.
